Alicia Silverstone’s Lingerie Clad Bullett Magazine Fall 2012 Feature

With her new movie “Vamps” set to hit theaters on November 2nd, Alicia Silverstone got an early start on promotions by scoring herself a feature in the Fall 2012 Vol. VIII issue of Bullett magazine.

The 35-year-old actress showed off her curves in a slew of sexy lingerie pieces for the elegant Zoey Grossman shot spread while dishing about everything from regretting her young career to playing a vampire for her latest movie role.

On her character in Vamps:
“Goody has been hiding who she is for a very long time and that can be incredibly exhausting. These are do-gooder vampires and they go to the equivalent of AA meetings so they won’t drink people’s blood.”

On regretting her young career:
“There are so many things I would have done differently after “Clueless,” but I think we all have that period in our loves where we think ‘If I could just press the restart button!’”

On working at Sony at a young age:
“I was this innocent little person who was completely confused and stuck, and yet there I was making phone calls to important people. I ended up color grading and editing that movie I made with them [Excess baggage]. Why on earth would a 19-year-old girl be color grading and editing a movie?”

Director Tony Scott cremated; scholarship created

John Mayer Humiliated by Taylor Swift

John MayerIt is no secret that John Mayer likes talking about his exes in public, but when the roles were reversed and one of his former lovers talked (actually sang) about him, he didn’t quite like it.

In a recent interview with the Rolling Stone magazine, Mayer confessed that he felt ‘humiliated’ when two years ago; his former girlfriend Taylor Swift released the famous retaliatory song “Dear John.”

The 34-year-old singer/songwriter said: “It made me feel terrible. Because I didn’t deserve it. I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do.”

Even though Swift has never said that the song’s antagonist is Mayer, he himself has no doubt that it was a melodically disguised dig aimed at him. One look at the song’s title and lyrics is enough to be convinced that Mayer is actually right.

The lyrics go something like this: “Dear John, I see it all, now it was wrong / Don’t you think 19 is too young to be played with?/Your dark twisted games when I loved you so/I should’ve known. Dear John, I see it all now that you’re gone/Don’t you think I was too young to be messed with?/ The girl in the dress cried the whole way home.”

Moreover, the now 22-year-old Swift has a history of mentioning her former boyfriends in her musical content, with its proof being her single “Forever and Always” being about Joe Jonas and “Back to December” about Taylor Lautner.

Mayer claims he didn’t know that the end of their relationship had hurt Swift so much and it was through her song that he found out about her grief.

At the time of Dear John’s release, Mayer was already in a lot of trouble with the media due to his infamous Playboy interview, in which he had divulged some inappropriate and sexual details about his big name exes Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston. Hence, Swift’s attack added to his already heavy bag of woes.

He continued: “I never got an e-mail. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I’d already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you’ve ever been, someone kicked you even lower?”

As expected, he isn’t too fond of “Dear John” and so he wasted no time in criticising it.

“As a songwriter … I think it’s kind of cheap song writing. I know she’s the biggest thing in the world, and I’m not trying to sink anybody’s ship, but I think it’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, ‘Wait till he gets a load of this!’ That’s bulls—t,” Mayer added.

Taylor Swift: Memorial Day Working Girl!

Spending her Memorial Day hard at work, Taylor Swift was spotted heading into a Santa Monica, CA studio on Monday (May 28).

The country superstar looked effortlessly chic in polka dot skinny jeans, a white button up and black Ray Ban sunglasses as she headed in to make more music magic.

Switching to more career news, as previously reported by GossipCenter, the 22-year-old star is looking to add more trophies to her already impressive collection at this year’s Teen Choice Awards.

The “Fearless” songstress is up for multiple awards including Female Artist, Female Country Artist, Single by a Female Artist for “Eyes Open” and Country Song for “Sparks Fly”.

Taylor Swift Pays Respects To Fallen Marine

After coming across a touching YouTube video, Taylor Swift reached out to the family of a U.S. Marine who died in Afghanistan during combat on Friday (May 11).

The “Safe & Sound” singer sent flowers and a note to Sergeant Wade Wilson’s family after watching the video posted by the Sergent’s best friend, Corporal Josh Marreel, who starts the video by saying, “Alright, so this is a shout out to the one and only Taylor Swift.”

The soldier continues, “I know you have no idea who I am but this video isn’t about me. This is about a good buddy, Sgt. Wade D. Wilson, who was killed in action Friday, May 11, 2012 in Afghanistan.” Mr. Marreel adds, “Anybody that knew Willy personally knew that he worshiped you. He even slept with a poster of you in between our beds in Afghanistan.”

Josh Marreel then asks Taylor to “think about him,” and personally invites her to Wilson’s funeral services in Texas.

After seeing the video, Ms. Swift responded with flowers and a note that reads, “Wade, thank you for loving my music. I won’t forget it and I will never forget you. All my love, Taylor Swift.”

The 22-year-old also asked the Wilson family is she could use his army dog tags to pay tribute to him by wearing them in an upcoming music video, according to Gossip Cop.

The country superstar looked springtime stylish in high waist tan shorts, a classic white button up and cat eye sunglasses while sporting her signature bright red lip as she quenched her thirst with an iced coffee.

In career news, as previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Swift has been nominated for four Teen Choice awards including favorite female artist and favorite country song for her hit track “Sparks Fly.”

2012 Teen Choice Awards Nominees: Complete List

Honoring the best in entertainment as decided by their distinct age bracket, the first batch of nominees for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards were announced on Friday (May 18).

The hit CW show “The Vampire Diaries” leads the way with six bids at nabbing a surfboard while Justin Bieber finds himself deadlocked with “American Idol” in the runner-up slot with five nominations each.

With the “Twilight Saga” trio of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner also among the hopefuls this time around, teens are permitted to place a vote in one category per day via the official Teen Choice website,

Taylor Swift’s Cafe Lunch Date with Mark Foster

Following fizzled out relationships with Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal, it looks as if Taylor Swift may be ready to give romance another go.

The country darling was spotted out on a lunch date with Foster The People frontman Mark Foster at Caffe Roma in Beverly Hills on Thursday (May 17).

Trying to keep their day of togetherness out of the spotlight, Mark quickly parted from Taylor as the paparazzi arrived on the scene at the Italian eatery.

The lunch outing comes just as it was announced that Miss Swift is donating $ 4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.

The donation made by the country cutie marks the largest grant given to the museum by an artist, and the money is said to help fund an exhibit and classroom space dubbed as the “Taylor Swift Education Center” – which is expected to open in 2014.

Of the sizable gift, museum director, Kyle Young, said, “It will allow us to do what we do better, serve more people, develop new programs and I’m happy to say that as we talked through this opportunity with Taylor, she very much wants to be involved in an advisory capacity in what we do. Is there a better person out there who’s in touch with a young audience?”

The “Fearless” songstress looked springtime chic in black Ray Ban sunglasses, a blue and white striped dress and her signature red lip as she strolled the ritzy California locale’s sidewalks in search of a few new additions to her wardrobe.

After her shopping day out, the busy country music superstar grabbed an afternoon pick me up while posting a picture of a delicious looking coffee drink with a caption reading, “Being the girl sitting alone in the cafe, taking a picture of her latte. If that’s a thing.”

In career news, the 2012 CMT Music Awards nominations were released today and, in true Taylor fashion, she’s not up for just one trophy, but three!

The 22-year-old has been nominated for Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year for “Safe & Sound”, as well as Female Video of the Year for her song “Ours.”

Taylor Swift Repeats as ACM Entertainer of the Year

For the second year in a row, Taylor Swift walked away from the Academy of Country Music Awards with the annual ceremony’s top prize of Entertainer of the Year.

Much more composed this time around, the calm and collected “Mean” singer took the MGM Grand Garden Arena stage during Sunday night’s (April 1) show to be handed her prize from presenter Lionel Richie.

Beating out fellow nominees Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton in the fan voted accolade, Taylor first voiced her admiration for the four fellas in which she beat out.

Miss Swift spent the rest of her time onstage mentioning 18-year-old leukemia patient Kevin McGuire – who was supposed to escort Taylor to the ACMs, but was unable to do so as a result of his medical condition.

When Mr McGuire revealed at the last minute that he wouldn’t be making it to the Sin City country celebration, Swift immediately responded with a heartfelt tweet reading, “Just talked to Kevin McGuire,” adding “He’s not well enough to join me at the ACMs. Please keep him in your thoughts. I’ll make it up to you, Kevin!”
