Katy Perry Puts Home She Shared with Russell Brand Up for Sale
After an eye-opening trip to Madagascar, Katy Perry arrived back at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 9).
The “Firework” singer averted her eyes from pesky paparazzi in a purple hooded sweatshirt with matching pants and black flats as she traversed the busy terminal.
Hoping to finally put a chapter of her life behind her, the 28-year-old pop star publicly listed the mansion she bought with then-husband Russell Brand.
Nine months after their divorce was finalized, the Hollywood Hills home is now up for sale for a cool $ 6.925 million.

Katy Perry Visits Madagascar with UNICEF
Opening her eyes to the issues faced by some of the poorest in the world, Katy Perry visited Madagascar last week on a UNICEF mission.
The “Wide Awake” singer checked out the charity’s educational and health programs while in the impoverished nation.
In a statement, the 38-year-old pop star shared, “In less than one week here in Madagascar, I went from crowded city slums to the most remote villages and my eyes were widely opened by the incredible need for a healthy life — nutrition, sanitation, and protection against rape and abuse — which UNICEF are stepping in to help provide.”
Appreciating the experience, Ms. Perry added, “I am grateful to UNICEF for giving me the opportunity to see first-hand how their programs make a real difference in children’s lives. Support for UNICEF is saving children, I am a witness to it.”
Though it may have been a quite sobering visit, Katy showed her Twitter followers a glimpse of her fun personality peeking through the hardship when she posted a photo of herself fist-bumping a young child with the caption, “One of my favorite moments from my life changing @UNICEF trip to Madagascar!”

Katy Perry & Cast of “Glee” Join President Obama’s Inauguration Lineup
President Barack Obama’s second inauguration is turning out to be a star-studded affair as new acts continue to confirm their spot on the lineup.
The latest celebrity acts taking part in the festivities include Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Usher, Brad Paisley and the main members of the “Glee” cast.
Each of these guests are slated to appear in various events throughout the inaugural affair, including the Kids’ Inaugural on Saturday, January 19 and the official ball, which is held on Sunday, January 21.
Beyonce already confirmed her spot singing the national anthem at the actual inauguration ceremony. She will be joined by James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson.

Katy Perry Hits the West Coast With New Hardware
Attempting to make a swift exit after an arriving flight, Katy Perry made her way through LAX airport in Los Angeles, CA on Friday (November 30).
The “California Girls” songstress rocked a dark green skirt, pattern cardigan, and large brim hat, all the while keeping her head down to make it past the waiting mob of shutterbugs.
Katy was returning to the west coast after being in New York City for the Billboard Woman of the Year luncheon.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 28-year-old pop sensation took home top honors at this year’s annual event .
Speaking on the prestigious title, Miss Perry said, “It’s truly a lovely compliment. Seeing who has been honored in the past-Beyonce, Taylor Swift and others – I’m in good company.”
