Gwyneth Paltrow Talks British Life & Marriage in Glamour UK June 2013

Her anticipated flick “Iron Man 3″ premieres in theaters Friday (May 3) and Gwyneth Paltrow soaked up the spotlight by covering the June 2013 issue of Glamour UK.

After rocking a few poses in an all-white ensembles for the Colina Rentmeesters photo shoot, the “Contagion” beauty dished about her new home in the British capital and her life with singer-songwriter Chris Martin.

On enjoying life across the pond:
“I love London – it’s my adopted home. Being an American woman living in Britain, there are things I’ve had to catch up on, though. Chris had to explain Blue Peter to me! In London, the kids and I really take advantage of the city. I have them on the tube, in the museums, in St James’ Park, the theater. I use that city so much – I want them exposed to it.”

On marriage:
“It’s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We’re the same as any couple. I asked my dad once, ‘How did you and mom stay married for 33 years?’ and he said, ‘Well we never wanted to get divorced at the same time.’ And I think that’s what happened. When two people throw in the towel at the same, then you break up, but if one person’s saying, ‘Come on, we can do this,’ you carry on.”

On how she approaches her and Chris’ relationship:
“I’m a very grounded, homey person and Chris is a very mad scientist, genius songwriter. So I never say, ‘Where are you? You should be home by now.’ I never place demands on him because I think he’s a really talented man and he’s putting something good into the world.”

With her hit Fox series “New Girl” all set to resume its second season on January 8th, Zooey Deschanel garnered herself a little welcome attention by covering the February 2013 issue of Glamour magazine.

The soon-to-be 33-year-old actress looked fashionably fabulous in a Prabal Gurung dress with a Louis Vuitton necklace for the Ellen von Unwerth shot front page while joined by Miley Cyrus’ ex model flame, Justin Gaston, in the accompanying feature spread.

Miranda Cosgrove & Jessica Szohr Promote Generation Glamour

Joining in on the festivities leading up to New York Fashion Week, Miranda Cosgrove and Jessica Szohr strutted around Los Angeles, California wearing a custom made t-shirt for the user-generated campaign Generation Glamour.

As the latest celebrities to rock the shirt, the “iCarly” Disney starlet and the “Gossip Girl” beauty looked darling in the white tee with the tagline “Over Sharing is Under Rated,” of which each completed their look with different colored skinny jeans.

As for the campaign, Generation Glamour focuses on displaying the voices and faces of the Millennial generation and girls everywhere are encouraged to participate by uploading a picture of themselves and their friends on Instagram with the hastag #generationglamour.

While Jessica has been keeping busy filming “The Internship,” Miss Cosgrove took a moment to make an exciting announcement through Twitter on Wednesday saying she will be performing in the Grand Ballroom at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas on August 31st!

On how she feels about her post-children body:
“I feel [gets all fake dramatic]… great about my body. [Laughs] You know, aesthetically I can be picky, but I choose not to be. I’ve taken huge leaps. I’m proud of that. I work out, abd U get lots of sleep, and so I feel great. And that is so important.”

On her favorite moment in every day:
“When I wake up at 5:30am and it’s still dark out. I love, love being alone. It helps me to be a better mom to my kids and a better person at work.”

“I haven’t read the book, but I’ve been told about the excerpts that relate to me, and the speculation about my private life. From what’s been reported they put hundreds of hours into making this book, and Tom is a respected journalist. They looked very pleased with it all at their launch. I’m sure it makes for a great read and I wish them all the best.”

On turning down an opportunity to work on “The X Factor”:
“I was offered the chance to return, but I decided it wasn’t the right thing for me, as yet again it didn’t fit in with the commitments I’d already made to Australia’s Got Talent. I am fiercely passionate about every show I commit to. I had four incredible years on The X Factor, but the show has moved on, and so have I.”

On her career plans for the future:
“I am actively looking for something that I could do in the UK. I really want to come back and do something, but I would want it to be right.”

“I was recently in London with Vera Wang for the launch of a perfume and I felt so glamorous! She is so sophisticated, we met many magazines publishers and went to Harrod’s, everything really impressed me.”

On if she has any beauty tips:
”I’m the worst at this (laughs). I always say less is more when it comes to make up and hair. but I do believe that if you are healthy you will always look better. Sure, I say this after having eaten a mac & cheese, but I try to take vitamins, eat vegetables and salads, fresh juices and do yoga.”

On what she does outside of acting:
“I love music, writing and being with my family. I love traveling. I travel a lot, but almost always for work. I am thrilled to get a vacation, all I want to do is eat, sleep and swim all the time with my family in Florida.”

She’s wrapping up another season of “American Idol”, just announceed a tour with Enrique Iglesias and is readying for the May 18th release of her new movie, but Jennifer Lopez somehow managed to find time to partake in a cover girl gig for the June 2012 issue of Glamour UK.

Decked out in an Enza Coasta vest teamed with a Salvatore Ferragamo bandeau top and a Chris Benz skirt, the 42-year-old superstar worked it for the Matthias Vriens-McGrath shot spread while opening up about topics including cosmetic surgery, raising twins and relationships.

On raising twins Max and Emme:
“It takes a village – you do really learn what that means when you have kids. It’s a juggling act, just like any single mom. They just started sachool, three days a week. I have to travel without them here and there, so it’s really important they’re surrounded by family when I’m not there. They come first, though. I like to wake up with them. I like to put them to bed. That’s how we do it so they feel loved, happy and what they are – the most important thing in my life.”

On starting a relationship:
“You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else.”

On the importance of keeping new relationships out of the spotlight:
It matters. Especially at the beginning of a relationship. To give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. The media, they wantto rush everything. Give their seedy opinions without knowing all the facts.”

On cosmetic surgery:
I’d like to think I’ll age gracefully, but then I think, ‘Well, what if I do want a little bit of something?’

Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson: Glamour UK’s Best-Dressed of 2012!

She’s had quite the banner year thus far, and now Kristen Stewart can add Best-Dressed Woman to her list of accolades as bestowed upon her by Glamour UK.

According to the publication, the “Twilight” star has earned the recognition due to her serious style transformation from the years before.

They write, “Whether she’s working bodycon Monique Lhuillier on the red carpet, or dressing down in jeans and a T-shirt, Kristen is always effortlessly on-trend. Her evolution from awkward teen to style queen has made the Twilight star a fashion icon every girl can relate to.”

Next on the mag’s list is fresh-faced beauty Emma Watson, who they described as a “colour chameleon” who looks “stunning in both rainbow brights and monochrome, cementing her place in the style set.”

Rounding out the top five fashion favorites were Victoria Beckham (#3), Kate Middleton (#4) and Florence Welch (#5).

As for her topped the charts of the year’s most dapper males, K-Stew’s hunky on-and-off screen beau Robert Pattinson took the numero uno.

As for the other trend-conscious guys, Ed Westwick (#2), singer Gary Barlow (#3), Johnny Depp (#4) and Ryan Gosling (#5) also earned mentionable spots.

Jennifer Lawrence Covers Glamour UK April 2012

Her star just keeps rising higher and higher, and Jennifer Lawrence is taking her relatively-newfound fame in stride.

During her interview for the April issue of Glamour UK, the “Hunger Games” starlet stated that she’s not really that interested in becoming a mega-celebrity.

“I look at Kristen Stewart now and I think, ‘I’d never want to be that famous.’ I can’t imagine how I’d feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium.”

Jennifer continued, “In some ways, it’s a hard life, but it’s a great professional life. I’m doing what I love, and then I get months and months of rest. I have a lot of money for a 21-year-old. I can’t stand it when actors complain.”

“Just recently I started letting myself eat things from the minibar. When we were kids, we would never open the minibar. A $ 6 Snickers bar? But the other day I was in a hotel and I was staring at a Snickers bar, and I finally just ate it. Then it was like something in me snapped. I opened all these drinks. I thought: I can do it now. Now I’m all grown-up. I can eat things from the minibar.”
