Demi Lovato on Joe Jonas: “We Have a Great Friendship”

There may have been a bumpy road in the process but it looks like Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas maintained a friendship after their split in 2010.

In an interview with ABC’s “Nightline,” the “Heart Attack” songstress explained, “We were in a relationship and we broke up, and at one point, I was really mad at him,” adding, “Now, I can, fortunately, say, that him, and his brother Nick, have always been there for me, and are literally family, and like brothers … we have a great friendship.”

Demi also dished that they “may not be as close as [they] used to be, but that’s OK.” Also explaining, “When you go through heartbreaks and things like that, you always have in mind somebody,” she said. “It’s like when you hear a song on the radio that reminds you of somebody, you’re going to be reminded. But keeping that in mind … it’s a delicate balance.

Jonas himself also proved their friendship recently when he tweeted out kind words after the release of her new album Demi, writing, “Congrats @ddlovato on the new record! So happy for you!”

Demi Lovato Talks Post-Rehab “Wake-Up Call” in Company June 2013

It’s been well over a year since she completed her rehab program, and Demi Lovato hasn’t forgotten the lessons she learned as a result of her crazy ways.

The “Skyscraper” songstress is featured on the cover of Company magazine’s June 2013 issue, noting that she lost most of her friends during her time away.

“A couple of months before I went to rehab, I had a birthday party and there were a couple of hundred people there. It was full of people who I considered my closest friends.”

However, that all changed pretty quickly- “When I turned my phone on after being in rehab for three months, I expected lots of text messages and phone calls. I had four texts. That was a wake up call.”

“Now I have people who, if I break my leg in the middle of the night, they’ll come to the hospital with me. Or they’ll answer the phone at 4 a.m. if I need them.”

Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore: Divorce Papers Filed

It’s been a long haul, but Ashton Kutcher officially filed for divorce from ex-wife Demi Moore on Friday (December 21).

According to TMZ, the 34-year-old actor turned in his papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court and cited irreconcilable differences.

Sources claim that the “Two and a Half Men” star hesitated to make the split official because he wanted to give Miss Moore the first opportunity. After a year-long wait, Mr. Kutcher decided to take the divorce into his own hands.

Ashton and Demi tied the knot back in September 2005 and separated in November 2011. Since the split, the studly actor started a romantic relationship with his former “That 70′s Show” co-star Mila Kunis.
