Having been married almost a decade, Rachel Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies are ready to welcome their first child into the family.
Currently filming TNT’s show, “Perception,” the 33-year-old actress tells Us Weekly, “I’ve been hiding my rapidly growing bump while shooting but this kiddo is vying for screen time. We clearly have a future actor on our hands.”
Ready to share his sense of humor with his offspring, her “The Originals” actor hubby jokes, “A lot of people are asking whether I’d prefer a boy or a girl. In truth, it doesn’t matter to me — I just can’t wait to meet little Keanu Robocop.”
On May 15th, the happy couple have something else to celebrate, the premiere of Showtime’s “Broken Kingdom” in which Daniel directs and Rachel appears.

Composer Paul Mealor wrote “Sleep On” for the Royal infant after having penned the wedding music for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s nuptials.
Mealor explained, “After writing music for the Royal Wedding it seemed natural to provide the musical accompaniment for the next stage of the royal couple’s journey together.”
And classical singer Hayley Westenra recorded the track on her new album- “Paul and I got together to work on a song called Sleep On in honor of William and Kate’s new arrival as it’s such a joyous occasion which we can all celebrate.”

Increasing the ratio of girls to boys in the family, Ian Ziering and his wife welcomed a baby girl on Thursday (April 25).
The “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star and Erin Ziering told People that Penna Mae Ziering entered the world at 9:21 a.m. at 6lbs, 9oz.
Unfortunately for their other daughter Mia, she’ll have to share a special occasion with the little one, as Penna arrived right on her second birthday.
The proud papa explained, “We didn’t plan it! Mia was born a week late and Penna was a week early. She couldn’t wait to meet her. When she saw Penna she said, ‘Baby sister!’”
Stoked for the new addition, Ian gushed, “We are ecstatic. Having a family is the realization of a dream for us both.”

After over a year long relationship, Poppy Montgomery and her boyfriend Shawn Sanford welcomed a baby girl on Monday (April 22).
The “Unforgettable” star and her Microsoft exec beau were thrilled for Violet Grace Devereux Sanford, who made her debut at 7:57am, weighing 6lbs, 12oz., and measuring 19.5 inches long.
Along with the happy couple, Violet will be joining 5-year-old brother Jackson, who is from one of the 37-year-old mom’s previous relationships.
In a statement to People, the pair gushed, “We are overjoyed with the arrival of our beautiful angel and filled with gratitude that she is happy, healthy and thriving.”
