Demi Moore has finally changed her name on micro-blogging website Twitter. The estranged wife of “Two and a Half Men” actor Ashton Kutcher has shown that she is serious about cutting her soon-to-be ex out of her life by changing her Twitter handle from “Mrs. Kutcher” to “Just Demi.”

“So hard finding a name that was fun somewhat playful and available. So for now it will be @justdemi It could grow on me!” Moore tweeted in the early hours of Friday before making the alteration.

Before going “Just Demi,” the 49-year-old actress had told her fans that she will change her Twitter handle once her follower count on the website crosses the five million mark. “By the time I hit 5 mil followers I will have a new twit handle at least a temporary one…,” she had tweeted back then.

Once the change was made official, she thanked her tweeps for their valuable suggestions during her quest for a new moniker. “Thanks everyone for your help in finding my new name!” she simply posted.

Moore and Kutcher separated from each other late last year after reports of his infidelity surfaced in the press. He allegedly cheated on her on September 24, the day of their wedding anniversary. Their split resulted in deterioration of her health and she even had to spend some time in a rehab.

She remained away from the media limelight for three months before reappearing on the mainstreamed scene last month at the launching ceremony of Amanda de Cadenets new TV show “The Conversation.”
