Sandra Bullock Pulls Out of “Annie” Negotiations

After continuous rumors regarding her involvement, reports state that Sandra Bullock will not have a role in the new “Annie” film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, negotiations between Sony and the “Miss Congeniality” star came to a halt on Wednesday (June 19).

Sandra was rumored to portray Miss Hannigan in the Will Smith and Jay-Z-produced remake of the 1982 classic.

Despite Miss Bullock’s leave, Oscar-nominated actress Quvenzhane Wallis is still set to portray the title role.

The Will Gluck-directed flick is set to begin production in the fall and hit theaters in 2014.

The “High School Musical” hottie wore a boho paisley-printed jumpsuit as she posed alongside the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” star, clad in a flirty yellow mod dress.

And it seems Miss Greene has been enjoying some of the local wildlife during her time in Indonesia this week.

She posted a photo of a monkey on her shoulder to her Twitter account along with the caption, “I can’t believe this is real life.”

New Details Emerge About Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Birth Plans

With the royal birth just weeks away, new details are emerging about Kate Middleton and Prince William’s plans for the big arrival.

According to a Clarence House spokesperson, the couple still do not know the gender of their bundle of joy, despite reports to the contrary that swirled months ago.

Other details revealed during the press conference held by William’s spokesman Ed Perkins include that the future monarch will be born at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, where Prince William and Prince Harry were born with the Queen’s former gynecologist coming out of retirement to supervise.

Once the little one arrives, Wills will take a two week paternity leave from his duties from the military to be with his new family. Last week, the Duchess made her last public appearance before she gives birth.

Miss Utah’s “Today” Show Redemption

She’s become an internet sensation for her less-than-stellar answer during the Miss USA Pageant over the weekend, but Miss Utah Marissa Powell isn’t going out like that.

The 21-year-old stunner appeared on the “Today” show this morning (June 18) to have another go at answering NeNe Leakes’ question regarding the inequality of pay between men and women in today’s workplace.

Powell began, “This is not OK. It needs to be equal pay for equal work. It’s hard enough already to earn a living, and it shouldn’t be harder just because you’re a woman.”

Meanwhile, Miss USA Erin Brady added, “You’re nervous for her because you know that in a matter of seconds, that can be you. You’re going to have a similar question. You are in front of millions of people.”

Joined by her son Deacon, the “Sweet Home Alabama” babe looked comfy in a white top with jeans and suede boots as she scurried through the terminal and headed home.

In career news, Reese will be starring alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Owen Wilson, Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, and Maya Rudolph in the retro crime flick “Inherent Vice.”

Per the synopsis, “In Los Angeles at the turn of the 1970s, drug-fueled detective Larry ‘Doc’ Sportello investigates the disappearance of an ex-girlfriend.”

Brad Pitt Premieres “World War Z” in NYC

Making a final push before it hits theaters, Brad Pitt attended the premiere of “World War Z” at Duffy Squre in New York City on Monday (June 17).

The “Fight Club” star was dressed in all black, including a black blazer as he posed for pics on the red carpet for both paparazzi and lucky front-row fans.

That morning, the 49-year-old actor appeared on “Good Morning America” to promote the flick and spoke about partner Angelina Jolie’s double mastectomy.

During the interview Brad explained, “When she wrote her piece, we had already come out the other end and we’re feeling really good about it. We’re really surprised and moved by how many people are dealing with the same issue, or wondering about the same issue.”

Enjoying sunny California while recording her new album, Rita Ora stopped at In-N-Out burger before heading off in a convertible on Monday (June 17).

The “How We Do” singer was dressed down in a large white T-shirt, denim shorts, and black sneakers as she carried an oversized shopping bag.

Later, Ms. Ora shared another image from the photoshoot that pays homage to one of her idols, posting, “Inspired by the Queens of all Queens Madonna. Stepping out for promotional duties, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Jason Statham attended the London premiere of “Hummingbird” on Monday (June 17).

In regards to the flick starring Statham, director Steven Knight tells the story of a military court martial that is homeless and on the run.

The action film is set to hit theaters on June 28.

Disney Picks Up “Girl Meets World”

Following in the footsteps of the immensely popular “Boy Meets World” series from the 1990s, Disney just bought the rights to “Girl Meets World,” and plans on airing the new show in 2014.

Creator Michael Jacobs told press, “I am grateful to everyone at Disney Channel for the opportunity to reach my favorite audience, which has always been kids.”

“Girl Meets World is a new show for a new generation that will be rooted in the same kind of honest, comedic storytelling about coming of age and the importance of family and friendship that made Boy Meets World so popular.”

Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, and Rowan Blanchard will star in the program, which will begin filming this summer.

Disney honcho Adam Bonnett noted, “Boy Meets World and its story of adolescent self-discovery resonated with an entire generation of tweens. In the same way audiences fell in love with Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence, we look forward to introducing our viewers to their daughter Riley Matthews in Girl Meets World and building a memorable connection with a whole new generation of fans.”

Getting ready for the final day of auditions, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne arrived at the “X-Factor” location in Manchester, England on Saturday (June 15).

Showing off her fit figure, the Pussycat Dolls songstress sported an all-black midriff-baring ensemble, while “The Talk” co-host opted for a more conservative look in a black jumpsuit and white jacket.

Eager to check out the possible contestants, Nicole tweeted, “It’s a rainy, grey day in Manchester, but bring on the sunshine, great talent and good energy @TheXFactor.”

This is day one of three for young hopefuls to try out, and co-host Gary Barlow says they need all the time they can get.
